Numerical Simulation of the Oil Production Performance of Different Well Patterns with Water Injection

Numerical reservoir simulation, which includes the construction and operation of a model that performs similarly to real-world reservoir, is an effective method for exploring complex issues. Due complexity constructing environments experiments, numerical simulation vital studying flow behavior under conditions. In this study, black-oil modeling simulator was used construct, simulate, evaluate conceptual hydrocarbon model. The evolved by drilling two production wells one injection well in cases. first case consisted horizontal well, while second vertical well. total, 25 runs were performed, results showed perform better than terms productivity, with field oil total 1,930,000 m3. This significantly higher wells, have 1,890,000 m3 after 1840 days. recovery factor 41% it 39%, both less 50%. indicates reservoir’s sweeping efficiency minimal. To enhance efficiency, water rate number should be increased, as patterns locations remodeled. It also shown thickness productivity increased. order boost increase above 50%, length increased take up wider area portion. On other hand, may no impact on efficiency.
